Privacy Policy
Fond of Hockey Team is an arcade ice-hockey game. You do not create an account and we do not require an e-mail address to use the app.
Who we are
This policy is published by the developer of Fond of Hockey Team, DMYTRO SIMONOV. Questions: vitalya937@icloud.com.
Information we process
- A random device identifier stored in the Keychain on your phone. It is the only identity used to sync scores and your profile.
- Profile fields you type (display name and optional favourite player).
- Match results you submit (goals for and against, shots, jersey number, difficulty/mode, duration and timestamps).
- Leaderboard rankings derived from those results (nickname, points and wins).
- Push-notification device tokens via OneSignal, if you grant notification permission.
We do not collect your Apple ID, precise location, contacts, photos, payment details or advertising identifiers. The app does not include advertising or third-party analytics SDKs.
How we use information
The device identifier authorizes requests and keeps your record on the same installation. Display names and scores support the shared leaderboard. Match history lets you review results on this device. If you allow notifications, the app registers with Apple Push Notification service through OneSignal so we can send operational alerts; you can revoke permission in iOS Settings. We do not sell this data and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
Where it is stored
Match history can stay on your device. When the network is available, scores and profile fields are sent to the companion backend at https://api.fondofhockeyteam.cc, bound only to your device identifier. The backend is hosted on Railway, which provides hosting, networking and storage and may process technical request information such as IP addresses, timestamps and connection details. Hosting may process information outside your country.
Sharing
Leaderboard nicknames, points and wins are visible to other players. Choose a nickname that does not disclose private information. We do not share personal data with advertisers. Infrastructure providers that run https://api.fondofhockeyteam.cc may process the same records solely to keep the service online. We disclose data only if required by law.
Data retention
Local records remain until you remove them or uninstall the app. Backend scores remain associated with the installation until deleted; uninstalling the app alone does not send a server-deletion request. Operational logs and any infrastructure backups are managed separately by the hosting provider and may remain until their normal rotation or expiry.
Deleting your information
You can remove your uploaded scores from the service while connected to the internet. Uninstalling the app does not by itself delete server-side data. To request deletion of server-side data tied to your device identifier, e-mail vitalya937@icloud.com. We may need information sufficient to identify your installation. Never send device credentials or other secrets by e-mail. Other people may retain screenshots or copies of information you previously made public.
Your privacy rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction or deletion of your information, restrict or object to processing, or withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. Contact DMYTRO SIMONOV at vitalya937@icloud.com. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Children’s privacy
The application does not ask you to provide an age or date of birth for a user account. Parents and guardians should supervise use by children and the information they enter or share. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided information improperly can contact DMYTRO SIMONOV to request review and deletion.
Changes
This policy may be updated when the application or its data processing changes. The current version is always published at https://api.fondofhockeyteam.cc/privacy.
